i think it would be great if we could get the message across to cut the amount of piperazine being sold as mdma no wonder clubbbing and raves have gone down hill these days mdma is slowly bouncing back i just wish there was more we could do about it what does every 1 else think?
 
Pipes suck, but Raves shouldn't be about the drugs, you should go to them for the music.
 
sorry by raves i meant the club scene in general a couple of years ago when the pills were good the clubs where i live were lockouts big queue's week after week now it seems a lot of places are dead due to the fact there are no decent pills for any 1 to take instead they get ripped off for a few quid for some fake crap they think they will get off there head on!
 
We have been trying to get the message out. However, it's a bit of a problem for a lot of people because, for various reasons, people don't want to invest in test kits (they don't know they exist, buying them is a hassle, dealers get pissed if you pull one out, taking them into venues is a bad idea, etc.). Getting good MDMA these days is an investment beyond the price of the pills. You have to think about the price of kits, the price of pills that you test as not MDMA, the oppertunity cost deals may carry if you demand testing, etc. It's worth it for sure, it's just that becoming that methodic isn't easy. Especially not during the honeymoon stage.

Dealers will keep pushing piperzines as long as they can. Make no mistake - dealers care about money and not about you getting piped or not. Finding a dealer you can trust is a lot like finding a gold mine, and they do exist. But even so, it's better to be safe than sorry. Get a kit.
 
^^^ this guys summed it up pretty much find a good source and stick to it bottom line get a test kit i think a question i should ask is whyis it just over the past few years especially where i live is there a dramatic increase in pipes being sold as pills or mdma fewer actual pills contain mdma and the price for real mdma pills dramatically increased in price
 
^ It's not just where you live. It's a problem in any country where MDMA was once popular. I would tell you about how it's easier to make/obtain piperazine chemicals, but the main issue is as you said before - mainstream ignorance. You drop a tem like "piperazine" or "BZP" in a club and people look at you weird. People just want to "roll balls." Most kids these days who think they roll all the time and it's all trippy/crazy/etc. are undoubtably on other chemicals than pure MDMA. Until people can get over just saying "bad pills" and start understanding the chemistry behind why some pills are bad, the dealers still win.
 
Agreed with above. Obviously Pipes being legal in some countries, and illegal in other countries help spread their use as an adulterant. Really the consumer dictates how long Pipes stay around for. No dealer wants to sell a product no one is going to buy.
 
^^ yeh i understand that people just want to get off their head as ive recently moved area bout a year ago i have had to start fresh in gaining new sources/ dealers/ suppliers. ive had hardly any luck at all ive found dealers they say they can get pills so when i ask whats in them like are they real as in mdma or piperazine they just look at me weird and say i dont know what u mean!!
 
Unfortunately, even if piperazines are made much harder to obtain, dealers will move on. There's always something cheaper than MDMA. Bunk pills being the easiest, but the legal system trails the RC market by a few years. And dealers can and will abuse that. Back in the old days, before the internet RC room, this wasn't so much of an issue. But getting things turned around won't be easy. What? Given that MDMA is costly to make, even as RCs are made illegal or controlled, MDMA and the chemicals used to synth it are controlled too. So do the math.
 
would people agree that over 50% of new pill takers over the past 2 years have not experienced real mdma i think this has caused major problems we have people taking things that they dont even know whats in them they brand it as e yet they dont have a clue i have a strong feeling that as the supply of real mdma or pills picks up people will get a lot wiser obtaining the real honey hopefully reducing the size of the piperazine market!!!
 
i can honestly say until dec 07 i'd never been piped everything i use 2 get was the real deal what a shame for me!! is price discussion allowed on ere??
 
^ No, price discussion is not allowed. Well, aside from the price thread in the drug culture forum (too lazy to link it, but it should be easy to find).

The problem is that some combinations of piperazines really do feel like MDMA at the beginning. I've been piped once and it was hard to tell what was going on until it turned on me around hour 4. The thing about piperazines is that there are literally dozens and dozens of different ones. Some are scheduled, others are yet to be invented. Some feel good, some feel bad. Some last long, so can kill. Some are even safe enough to include within prescription medication!

Test your pills. Sure, one can put the minimum amount of MDMA in a pill to test positive and make the rest god knows what, but we're on the corner of getting much better commerical pill-testing products. Stuff that can better sniff out pipes.
 
i think safe pill taking really does need promoting getting the message across is a lot harder than i thought i mean i know so many people that want to get mdxx high yet they dont care or have little knowledge about what there really taking if people new what to look out for in the 1st place surely the amount of pill reports for piperazine would reduce as they wouldnt buy em in the 1st place
 
Unfortunately due to issues with the free market of the black market, there is no way to regulate the pills that are being manufactured illegally. Its going to be up to the individual user to put their foot down and start refusing to buy shit pills that are cut with god knows what.

More people need to purchase test kits. And that is something that we push very heavily here. Are test kits perfect? Absolutely not. But using a test kit is better than NOT using a test kit and can properly identify a lot of substances. Unfortunately, lab equipment is the only way to conclusively tell what a pill actually contains and what the dose levels are. Not everyone is friends with a chemist or has access to a lab with the proper equipment, so right now, its important to utilize the resources that ARE available.

The problem also is that a lot of people are just looking to get "fucked up" regardless of the chemical that their pill actually contains. They don't care that their pill doesn't contain mdma as long as they are feeling the affect of "something".

That's a very sad reality and unfortunately a lot of drug users are incredibly stubborn and won't listen to reason. They just want to live in that moment and party, regardless of what its doing to the market and that it leaves no incentive at all for a chemist to manufacture pills that contain mdma only.

i still cant understand where and why it all went so bad i mean i'm 24 now had my 1st mdma experience at 15 young i know however the supply was always good and in numbers for six years then all of a sudden these pills called rockets came on the scene in huge numbers that were piperazine blend ever since then its like tryin to find a needle in a haystack
 
maybe its got something to do with the fact that dealers became majorly aware of the fact that people dont know or care what they are taking recently enforcing a big market for the supply of piperazine blends to the generation of people that think there taking e yet they aint got a clue!!
 
^^^ i couldn't agree more. This generation of people is only looking to get muffed up so many of them take whatever pill is put in their hands, clueless to the things their putting in their bodies.
Man, EFF pipes!!!! Disgusting, foul, sickly chems. I feel lucky to have only experieced it once.

I'm very disapointed too with the current pill situation. I have a pretty sad story to tell.I'm 38 and grew up in manchester in the days when the first white doves came out costing up to £!! a pop. Fantastic pill, you could easily just roll around on the ground for hours in pure extasy!! years on I've moved, got married and had kids.But always kept in touch with my contacts.Same life long friends. I was out of the scene for a few years but am now doing the odd pill now and then again!!managed to get some good white sharks, pink smilies, euros, etc which were fine. but in the last six months its only been pips from euros to now mitzubishis. Back to my point.. The sad thing is that I've been complaining to my friends about this but they seem to like the pips buzz...why i dont know. I've been doing these mitzis (because I cant get anything better) and I can see slightly pleasant feeling you get from the pipz but no way does it compare to MDMA.
I just hope some people are not liking the pipz too much to keep the pipz market going!!!
