Salvia Licks?

Hey, I found a recipe on erowid for how to make salvia licks. But the person doesn't say anything about the effects..just wondering if anyone has tried this? I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post recipes for this type of thing on here. I don't see why not seeing as how its completely legal...but I won't unless someone says its alright. Anyways, it describes baking it after awhile and salvia crystals apparently form. Very interested In how long this may last, or how intense it would be if this would work.

its basically a simple extraction until you have a crystalized product. weigh a known amount, disolve in a known amount of water. Lay it like blotter or gel tabs....

The average dose for saliva is low enough to lay on a paper substrate... You can eat them like blotter or you could even smoke them....

The headshop near my house sells liquid salvia for oral dosing.... Im hesitant to try it because i told myself i would never fuck with salvia again after walking into that camp fire last fall....

Yeah its quite simple. It involves an alcohol mixture, and pouring it onto a coffee filter actually. It does say you can choose to smoke it or take it orally. I just wasn't sure if it was orally active. I've read about chewing a quid, but haven't heard of any good reports. If anyone has tried this, what approximate dose was taken, and how long did it last. Also how were the effects compared to say...40-60x extracted salvia. Those are the only two I've tried on a few occasions, and broke through every time. It was very strange...I didn't enjoy the body high too much, but it had a sort of...deja vu type feeling to it/just straight messed. Also I've read that the tolerance actually goes down from salvia...which could also be interesting if someone would take it everyday for a few weeks? haha

I do not know how much an oral breakthrough dose would take, but i would be wary of it.....

Your going to be tripping for longer with an oral dose, you can do some pretty stupid things to your physical body while your mind is in salvia land.... have a sitter and make sure you don't do anything too bad, like steping into a fire or trying to walk off the balcony or something....

from what i've read there is no reverse tolerance. a reverse tolerance really doesn't make sense. its more of an increase in sensitivity to the effects and more awareness of whats going to happen. experience in how to properly achieve breakthrough experiences also helps. so taking it every day would just give you experience with it and allow to you become more accustomed to the effects and possibly open up to the effects more thus feeling the effects more strongly or more potently

Yeah for sure. I've only done it with a sitter around, and I would never do it near something dangerous. It would be great to find out the length too. I would like it to be around the hour mark. I've never done anything stupid with my body before. I'm usually just on the ground in awe(after a guy ripped a line through the center of my house and laughed at me, haha), or giggling to myself. I actually tricked my friend into doing something once just before I smoked some 60x, and he found out while I was on it, and he picked me up by my feet, and swung me around, and apparently I was saying, "weeeee", lol. But I don't remember anything of this world during that trip. It seems like a soul takes over your body when you completely break through to that world.
