This trip occurred a good long while ago, back in my very early stages of drug use. My buddy's brother worked at a smoke shop, and for some teenagers just getting going with their experimenting days... this was like a gold mind.
So we were headed back from school and my friend who I will just call 'J', said he had something he wanted to show me in his bag that he had gotten from his brother. So I, just hoping it was some pot or cold brews, was surprised when 'J' pulled out what looked almost like marijuana. Except this was packaged in the same type of way you would find fruit snacks or something. It had some cool logo on the side of it, with '20X' in the top corner.
'J' continued to explain to me, that his brother said that it was 'essentially legal weed' . I was very, very curious at this time in my drug career, so not much hesitation was given in willingness to try it out. 'J' and I pulled out our little Mary Jane pipe and loaded up bowl. We were going off of what his brother had said 'that we wouldn't need much more than a medium bowl for two people'. At this point 'J' and I were pretty excited to try a brand new experience (little did we know).
'J' decided he was going to take his hit first. His brother had already told him about the babysitter concept, and also that the effects last for a short amount of time. I didn't mind 'J' going first as I was a little nervous. 'J' sparked up and inhaled slow and deep, he may have been a little to cocky with his hit it ended in a fit of coughing and laughing. Then as I took the pipe from 'J', I looked at his face and it was almost as if you could see his mind disassociating with his body. He was out for about a minute and wasn't doing a whole lot during that time, just a few jerks of the body and mumbling, which kind of creeped me out. When 'J' came to, all that he could say was, 'is this real life?! is this real life?!' just over and over again like that.
At this point I was apprehensive but more excited than anything. I loaded another little half bowl and could not wait for lift off (or at least that is what I thought). The last thing I remember is letting go of the carburetor, and instantly I felt like literally 'gravity was trying to eat me'! I then found myself in an empty canvas of grey nothingness. Out in the distance i began to see little yellow heads. As the they came closer I realized that they were PAC-man. Every time they would open their mouth some thing strange was happening. (I know it sounds crazy but hey it is a trip) The mouth would open and images of the world, and what was going on in the world would project from their mouth.
Now this wasn't that bad of a trip, until it turned more to a cynical mood. I realized that I was one of the PAC-man and all the other ones were giving me dirty looks that were slowly progressing to homicidal looks. They were telling me, 'you do not know how this is done, you are ruining and killing the world!'.8(
That was the last thing I remember as I came too on my floor, 'J' towering over me exclaiming, 'WASN'T THAT AMAZING!!!!':D. All I could muster to say was 'N E V E R A G A I N!!!'
