Hi everyone, I have depression, ocd, gad and adhd.
I am currently taking lexapro (20mg) and ritalin LA (20-40mg).
Since the lexapro doesn't seem to help much against the depression and the ocd I thought about switching and asked my doc if it would be worth a shot to add wellbutrin to the lexapro to see if wellbutrin + lexapro help better against the depression and he said yes.

It's definitely easier to add wellbutrin than to switch to a SNRI now. I also know wellbutrin already cause I have taken it on its own 2 years ago for a few months. At 300mg it didn't seem to do much for depression or adhd.

Cause I know wellbutrin already I am less intimidated by it cause usually new drugs always scare me.

However, what I worry about now is wether taking both wellbutrin and ritalin could be dangerous. I found an article online which reported a case of a teenager who got a heart attack and he was on wellbutrin and ritalin! This is pretty damn scary.
Now I worry if this combo could be too risky.
What if the combo of wellbutrin + ritalin already raises the heart attack risk EVEN IF you keep on eye on your pulse and blood pressure?
What if for example it's possible that your pulse and BP stay normal and you think it's all fine but still your heart attack risk is higher because of having more NE and DA in your system?
