Meth is one of my favourite drugs, but I am well aware of the damaging effects regular use can have. I am aware meth is a confirmed neurotoxin, but my question is, what is the safest minimal time to let the brain rest before doing it again? 1 month 2 months? How long does it take for the brain to recover the dopamine seratonin and norepinephrine? Is there a particular method that is safest? Smoking, oral, intransal etc. Addiction should not be considered when answering as I have extreme self discipline when it comes to drugs that can really fuck you up

I'm not gonna judge anyone for using drugs but ask yourself one thing........what kind of benefit do I get from using this meth? The answer is easy, NONE.........

Opiates are used for pain relief but also are used for many other things like self medicating for depression, etc........same goes for weed used for pain.

I see no benefits from meth at all & can only give you an answer I read about as far as how to administer it safely.......I would say orally/eating it or melting it in your coffee & drinking it.

To each their own...........good luck!

really? what about desoxyn?

anyway, safest would be oral. and if you aren't smashing it I wouldn't be concerned about time between dosages

It is still good to put space in between doses. Just like mdma meth is damaging to the serotonin receptors as well as dopamine. Maybe you wouldn't have to wait a month but at least put a couple weeks of space from dose to dose.

Take magnesium supplements, 5htp, and some antioxidants pre and post-experience and it shouldn't cause too many problems. Obviously it's healthier if it's pure and try to stick to a strict dosing schedule. These are my general rules for mdma I'm not sure if they all apply to meth but it couldn't hurt.

Using it orally will make sure the least damage is done compared to other routes of administration. Honestly, damage can be permanent, or not; it depends on too many factors. I would advocate not using again if you can. Give it as long as you can, at least several months. Good Luck.

Dont use meth more than once or twice a week. also remember that the more you take, the worse you will feel on the comedown.

I've never personally used meth (willingly, I'm sure some was in my rolls), however I can see way more actual benefit than even opiates, and opiates are my weak spot! Aside from actual pain relief or pure recreation, they are useless especially for motivation and depression IME. I've made the mistake so many times taking opiates thinking "I'll feel really good and then will have the motivation to do activities A, B and C" and it turns out they ROB me of any motivation I had. I need not explain why they don't actually help with depression either, opiates have never pulled me out of a depressive mood, they only have made me give a few less fucks about it. Even kratom does a far better job of providing a genuine mood-lift.

A good, euphoric stimulant though, I could see resulting in the motivation and productivity I was looking for, while also being recreational. I would be a music-writing machine! I've been diagnosed with ADD, SAD and GAD, all of which kill my motivation and ability to focus on tasks. I definitely have the symptoms but have not been medicated for them as I simply am very against SSRI's and don't want to take amphetamine regularly. I know that meth would probably cure all these issues I've been spending my life battling in one quick hit, and I know my addictive tendencies, which is why I steer very, very clear from it.

There is a part of me, though, that still is interested in using it for creative purposes every once in a very long while, but I still worry about the whole thought process of "I could be so much more productive right now if...........".

Meth is scripted as a last line resort for ADD and narcolepsy as well as obesity. It's called desoxyn and the usual dose is around 10-20mg orally. I know meth is a neurotoxin but, I have read one paper that stated that in low doses it can be neuroprotective.

If you want to take it recreationally and minimize the risk then I'd stick to taking it orally or intranasally if you desire a better high, I would stay away from smoking it or smashing it. (Me and my ex used to smoke a lot of meth over a few month period, luckily we had a lot of sleeping pills and both have ADD so it just chilled us out, if it wasn't for these factors we wouldn't have had such a good time). Another way to reduce neurotoxicity is to take a lot of vitamin C, I read another paper that says taking upwards of 10 000 mg of Vit C can negate almost all neurotoxicity at recreational doses, altho I wouldn't use that as an exude to do grams upon grams of meth lol.

Oral meth lasts to long for me, if I don't have some benzos or chloral hydrate I wouldn't orally take it.

Tell me about it. With regular whizz I prefer to eat it, because I don't like insufflation in general, much less with meth. We also don't get glass here (or I've heard it may be available but I haven't really looked) so smoking is out. I mostly stay well away from meth nowadays anyway, but before, I'd start eating benzos about halfway into the duration, since I'd already be coming down... With a long way still to go. Several times I eventually gave up and knocked myself out with neuroleptics.

Way too many times I've noticed what I thought was a perfectly reasonable parachute keeping me up over 24 hours.

As you said, you are diagnosed with ADD, GAD & several other & I see no problem why you wouldn't want to be on Desonyx........we both definitely agree that SSRI's are nasty & shouldn't be approached.

But like every drug out there that cant help everyone, same goes for opiates.......its not a cure all by any means but I would take it over meth or SSRI's any day of the week for depression.

I don't self medicate because I'm not depressed, I'm prescribed hydrocodone & somas for my back pain.

Let us agree to disagree that both, stimulants & opiates can help someone suffering from depression.

Back to the OP........how did you decide to do meth & hopefully it hasn't affected your health.

This might not not be the article you were referring to since this thread is older than the publication date, but saw this a little while ago, posted by another user.
