I heard valerian can mess up benzo withdrawal. is the same true with kava kava? What about sculcap? what can i use for benzo withdrawal to not slow down my recovery or mess anything up? Its hellish. It doesnt have to be herbs by the way. is there a specific magnesium i need to help? i already know about phenibut. i need help, thank you

Valerian, Kava Kava, phenibut, Lyrica, Neurontin will all ease the symptoms somewhat but are GABA agonists which means they work in a similar way to benzos. They might prolong withdrawal slightly but could also make it much more tolerable. If you use and slowly taper them you might make your withdrawal a lot less painful.

anyone else have experience with using phenibut during benzo withdrawal? or lyrica? did it prolong it?

benzo withdrawal questions

First of all< ive been addicted before. the longest time was 4 years ago where i was on klonopin for 2 years. It took me 1.5 yeras to get myself back fully, but now I got addicted again in June. I was on 2 ,mg of ativan for a month and then tapered valium for 2 months. Ive been off since the end of september. Im still having a pretty rough time. a lot of anxiety and insomnia and I border psychosis at times. Im also on 500 mg of lyrica to help with it. My question is will this benzo withdrawal take as long to get over? I was only on for 3 months and i recovered fully after my last one so I dont see how it could be 1.5 years but im worried as hell that im gonna feel this way for a year or m ore. In some ways this withdrawal is worse than the last one. can I expect a shorter withdrawal this time? thanks

ps i also use phenibut once a week to ge4t a good nights sleep. I hope this doesnt hurt anything

Let me start by saying that I've never been addicted to benzos..

Generally the second time around with dependence it's easier to get hooked. I hate to brake it to you, but there's a good chance you're probably right back at square one, or close to it. Everyone is different with things like this though, so hopefully I'm wrong.

Also, it will somewhat depend on your dosage/frequency of dose. Look at how much and how often you were dosing last time verses how much/often you were dosing this time. Withdrawal length isn't going to be directly proportional to dosage, but they will be correlated at least.

Good luck, man.

Having a 3 month benzo addiction as opposed to a 2 year one is going to have nowhere near as horrendous withdrawals.

That being said, you have probably been taking them for long anough and in high enough doses to have physical wd's; they just won't be as long lasting.

Just taper and be careful! You have done this before so you know there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Best of luck my man!

Were you on the 500mg of lyrica the first time that you kicked them?

I don't have an answer for you, but am just promting questions that may help others help you.

Once you've been tolerant to benzos once, if you start using again that tolerance comes back full force very quickly. Since your second period of use wasn't that long a time span, I would predict just as severe as w/d as the first time, just not as long lasting. Not sure if I'm correct, but it makes sense to me based on how I understand benzo tolerance, and not a lot of other people were making comment. So I figured I'd share my opinion with you.

Very best of luck, I understand what a bitch benzo w/d is. Stay strong and keep us posted on how you are doing.

The only really safe way to deal with benzo withdrawal in my opinion is a slow taper program on a long half-life benzo. Trying to substitute that with anything else could just be asking for trouble.

Benzo w/d is no joke. If you need help talk to your Dr. or an Emergency Medical Professional. They can get you on a taper program so you can get off the benzos safely.

Best of luck, and keep us informed.

dependency to phenibut and lyrica has been expressed by many people so take it very easy on subsitituting those drugs into the equation.

please don't start two seperate threads on the same topic.

mergin threads together.

You are sure a strong guy bro and definitely have a LOT of Will power to only take Phenibut once a week.

Do you have access to GHB? That will help your benzo withdrawal the most, as it is VERY Euphoric and Extremely Mood lifting if taken with proper doses. Its best if you can find some GHB powder. G can also be very addicting as well, but its withdrawals only last a few days (the physical part anyway) and then just a little depression for a week or two after.

I give you props though bro for having the willpower to take Phenibut once a week!:) If you take it more than twice a week the magic of it will wear off and tolerance builds EXTREMELY quickly and it hell to come off, some people end up in the hospital to come off Phenibut but that's when you've been taking it straight twice a day for a few months.

thanks guys. yea im scard tot ake phenibut nmor than once a week cause im eharing mixed things about it slowing me down cause i dont wanna be in this hell much longer. can anyone answer my second question on if the length of the withdrawal this time will be shorter than my l ast withdrawal cause I was only on for 3 months? i completely recovered last time.

supeodol I had a question for you but it looks like your inbox is full. Were you takin lyrica and phenibut during your benzo withdrawal and still recovered? Cause a lot of people are telling me it prolongs things so IM looking for someone whose used these drugs and still recoverd. I dont think I can handle lyrica withdrawal on top of everything else. any suggestions?

Use the herbs you named: Valerian, Kava-Kava, Skullcap- also herbs like Blue Vervain, California Poppy in combination with the aforementioned can help provide relief. In my experience with withdrawl from Benzodiazepines, which I've had quite a bit of in the past, combination tinctures and capsules work the best. You can usually find a tincture containing most if not all of the herbs you're looking for.

Yes, they are all GABA-nergic, but to a minimal extent. Depending on the severity of your w/d, they will make you feel marginally better, which can make a world of difference, without any substantial setback/counterproduction in regards to the taper itself.

do you know anything about lyrica or phenibut morpho?

btw i just popped a few l-theanine i feel a little better. im gonna order some kava cause at this point its so bad i wanna do dope. kava should be tried first imo

valerian, shullcap, and kava are good. phenibut is good but can also lead to a nasty physical dependence. GHB would likely fuck up the withdrawl process.

also avoid alcohol as that too will mess up the process.

the ONLY thing that helped me with dropping down period was just to taper as little at a time as possible, well maybe not as little but to taper the rite amount.i wouold still get WDs but they were tollerable besides the sleeplessness ,also i dont agree with it but i would go out and have a few beers,,enough to get a good little buzz on like 6 beers it helped..,plus whenever i would get close to realy lowering my doses, i would go back with a vengence..
so i am now trying to get help..Dont kow how this is gonna work being that benzos are not good for methadone and i realy need my benzos and antiphycotics and antidepressents.Im going nuts waiting for my fn interview.......

i hate being reliant on meds. man benzo withdrawal takes too god damned long I want my sanity back
