Rules, rituals and etiquette of smoking

Hey all, down here in Australia, my friends and I have a few rules about our 'sessions'. Such things as it always gets passed to the left, never leave stems and seeds on the table, don’t hog the joint, always give the supplier the first hit, and so on…..
Just wondering if there is anyone else who has anything to ad or a list to post.

The people I smoke with now generally call out their hit, like "I get green", "Hit me up with seconds," "Yo nigga I get thirds", etc. Thats really about all. Oh, you get punched if you drop the glass bowl (just cuz it might break). Not much else, but I want a new smoking circle anyway. Anybody ever smoke with younger kids (ie: teens) and feel there immature? Like "oh Rob sucks cock! haha" "No, you do! you slimy fucker!" "What you got beef?!". It's fucking gay, esp when its 24/7.

We used to let whoever's weed it was go first with anything but joints/blunts, and then if a person threw some in also, they sat next to the first person so that they'd be next in rotation. breaking the circle is of course a no-no... none of that strangely-ordered passing. With joints, whoever rolled hits it first, and then whoever's weed it was went second.

Also, if there was someone smoking with us who wasn't part of the group, they got to go last. Because they were lucky we were sharing at all!

And if at a party or something, and some annoying ass wanted to get in, he was shunned for the rest of the night =D

Ahh, the good old days. Now all I have is my girlfriend and I, and an occasional once-a-weed hangout with friends. That's what I get for growing up, I suppose...

To te left? Is that the same thingas toilets flushing backwards in the southern hemisphere? Always pass to the right kids.
 
In my group of friends there is one exception to the person who rolled it hits first rule. If we are a guest in someone's house that we normally wouldn't be at that person gets the green hit.
 
Never leaving stale hits for the next person (more bong oriented)
Puff puff pass, period chief.
Share the dutch, not your drool/chapstick.
Roller/supplier gets greens.
Move your feet, loose your seat in terms of the round.

Pass to the left cuz the right is wack.

thats how we always done it.
 
Basically if someone smokes you down, sometime in the near future it's your duty to do the same to them. It's just showing your appreciation...especially if they smoked you down with good shit! =D

Also, if it's your bowl, packed with your weed you get the green hit. The person with greens decides which way it's passed unless someone calls seconds. The roller of the doobie get's roller's priviledge, and gets to spark it up even if it ain't their bud. Also, don't be a douche bag, no one likes that in our circles, we all try to stay chill with each other.

No one ever has any problems with these though really
 
Dude its ALWAYS to the right, well with us at least. Ya if we r smoking a blunt or joint its 2 hits and pass, pipe or bong usually one hit and pass. If i am smoking with my good friends we only pack 1 hit in the bong or pipe at a time, so that after each person hits it u can clear it so nobody gets ne ash.

If there's one thing I really don't like, it's stingy smokers. Seriously, it won't kill you to be generous with your weed. It's not THAT expensive.

I think the whole rules thing is kinda absurd. If there's one drug that shouldnt have to be done a certain way, it's weed. I mean we all have certain smoking rituals, but it isn't something to get upset about if it's done a different way. Pass to the right, to the left, whatever. Everybody's smoking and that's what counts. Coke on the other hand requires rules, although I still think people are dicks if they won't share their blow, or ask for five bucks for a line or something absurd like that.
