Surely everyone has heard of krokodil, a crude phosphorus/iodine reduction of codeine to desomorphine.ehhem well I was just wondering about ideas for a clean reaction using real phosphorus and prill iodine with nalbuphine as a precursor. Ideas?

And what are you trying to make? Reduce the 2 hydroxyls in nalbuphine? For what purpose?
Anyway, if you have some kind of experience in chemistry, you'll know that there are better reagents to use; and wouldn't be asking this question at all. If you are, then most likely you don't really know what you're doing and that means you shouldn't try to do what you want to do.
