This may sound like a stupid question and I think the answer will be the oxycontin, but I can get two roxicodone 15mg for the same price as one 40mg oxycontin. Since the active ingredient of both of them is oxycodone, I should definitely go for the oxycontin, correct? Am I right that if I break the time release in the oxycontin they will have the same effect, except Ill be getting 10mg more? Thanks in advance.

Oxycontin is oxycodone hydrochloride roxicodone is a generic form of plain oxycodone. chemically they are the exact same thing practically and in practical use they are as well. for some reason people tend to like the time release oxycontin more and it is worth more. i dont know.

Some people also like to simply crush or chew them to defeat the time release.

So in making your decision:

2x 15mg Roxicodone = 30mg Oxycodone
40mg OxyContin = 40mg Oxycodone

I think that you will know which one to pick.
