Opioids Roxi and possibly kratom combination?

So, a little background first. Used opiates for a couple years and started kratom over 2 years ago. After switching to kratom I not have been using opiates-proper for, as I said, over 2 years.. Also, since I have very debilitating anxiety, I do take xanax a few days every month or every other month. I'm not stupid, I know how addictive and dangerous it is so just getting a few days every month to 'reset' helps me.

Well, I decided I'm going to get a roxi and have two questions.

1. Should I avoid kratom the day of/before taking my roxy? I've heard different arguments, a.) kratom blocks other opiates to a certain degree or b.) it potentiates it.

2. Having said that, should I expect some euphoria from the roxi since its been so long?

Kratom is an interesting plant and some say its an agonist and there are others that say it blocks other opiates (can't think of technical term).
 
1 - kratom does not block other opioids. depending on when and the amount you dosr, yes, it could synergise with the oxy having an additive effect.

2 - yeah definitely.

to be honest i would avoid dosing the kratom n oxy together initially to avoid any ill effects as youve had quite the extended break.

take no more than 15-20mg initially as well and avoid any other CNS depressants, as im sure youd be aware of. meaning the xanax you take.

2. Yes.

Kratom is not an opioid antagonist. It contains moderate-affinity opioid partial agonist, I thought. In the best case it will potentiate your oxy by some unknown amount (combining opioids is generally not as simple as 1+1=2, they can have more than additive effects).

It is probably best to avoid taking kratom the day you take oxycodone.
