Roger the alien from American Dad! anyone else appreciate his outlook?

If you've seen the show (American Dad!).... Do you appreciate Roger's nonchalant way of going about using drugs?
In one of the many drug-incorporated episodes, a visit into a gas station bathroom results in him (Roger) buying "Turkish" Amphetamines and tripping balls while driving... his way of "going with the trip" as well as "going with the flow" is almost God-like =D
I can't help but think about how awesome it would be to live like that for a little bit... no stress, no tolerance/addiction worries. Just walk around, random drug dealers offer you shit and you can use it once and be done and move on to the next drug offered.
He has smoked crack, fake-shot heroin and still felt a heroin high, drank drain cleaner and got a buzz, huffed a hobo's bag of "Jankum," and various other chemicals. I mean, it's uncanny how envious people should be/are of Roger's way of life. Not that I wanna huff poop or drink Drain-O but I wouldn't mind being relieved of my mortality in terms of psychoactive (and some just psycho-destructively-active) substances.

Anyone else think about this?

EDIT - by "uncanny," I mean it's almost beyond normal to be envious of such a way of life, but I still find the thought that a lot of people (including myself) would love to live the way of life Roger does so successfully.
 
I think it's more that Roger is in fact a drug addict, it's just not shown all the time as it would become boring. Drug addicts tend to become nonchalant about their use to conceal the problems they have.

I love Rodger, but he's one sick fucker! ;)

My favorite drug scene from that show is the one where Rodger "invents" Disco in the 1970s.

*Holding check for 1 million dollars and looking towars the sky* "Look Mom! Your baby boy finally made it!"
*Rolls check into tube*
"Okay Mom, look away for a second."
*snorts line of coke*
"Okay Mom! You can look again!"

Oh, a close second would be him inventing MDMA in one episode.

YES! I loved the MDMA one cause he got the amphetamines from that guys throw up... I don't know why it was so funny, it just caught me off guard.

Dude, I know! It's actually frightening because it makes drug use seem so glorified and without consequence... I mean it really makes me think "man...If I just like don't think about the bad parts of a drug, then there won't be any" using Rodger and sometimes Steve/Stan (like when he gets hooked on the Red Bull-esque drink, Cougar Boost, and when Stan smokes crack to cure his cold) as a rationalizing "argument." Except I am not ignorant (in the strictest definition of the word) enough to act upon those ridiculous thoughts. But, I'm sure the majority of 12-17 year-olds aren't so bright especially if their drug-use decisions are done whilst already inebriated and watching American Dad at it's later hours on TV.
 
Hahaha I'm just watched american dad on adult swim. Yeh roger does have a 'i don't give a fuck bout nothin' atttitude.
 
Yes it would be lovely but alas we are human and all too often fall into the horrible rut of being enticed by the euphoria of drugs

I loved the part when he says 'time to go to the dentist' and just grabs an N2O tank out of the closet to suck on. (Turned out to be the helium tank, but still funny. :p)
 
You know until this thread I never realized how often Rodger consumes every drug on the planet. :)

Also, I want his cane from the "king of spring break" episode that sprays liquor on demand.

FUCKING FUCK YES. Sorry...just lost control there. That is my favorite episode because for once, he doesn't actually consume any drugs through out the entire episode and yet he assumes the position of the "ring master" of one of the largest parties to ever go down in American Dad history. When he's like "you wanna see him get tased?" then tries to tase the fat dude, but it doesn't work so he just stares at him bluntly then HITS him with the cane and was like "HUH? You all thought he wasn't going down??" then rides him down the beer lagoon... that shit is hilarious.

All in all, we should take Roger's behavior for what it is: comedic judgement on culture, and we should NOT act on it lol. NO matter how increasingly appealing his life style seems.
EVERYONE GO WATCH THAT "KING OF SPRING BREAK" EPISODE IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET. IT'S LEGEN....WAIT FOR IT, DARY. for all you How I Met Your Mother fans out there.

I must quote this, as well haha. Another incredible episode where drugs play a role in the best jokes!

Another one to add to the large collection of roger drug scenes is when his face gets pushed into his coke stash (while dressed as tony montana) by the meth dealers and he gets up, brushes himself off, then his pupils get HUGE and he has an epic shoot out
 
Dude you realize Roger is an alien so his physiology and cultural upbringing are different from a humans. Also he is a cartoon character.

But anyways the episode where Stan accidentally gets addicted to crack is awesome.
 
Haha i love roger and his attitues towards drug use. Hes probably my favorite animated character. Hence my avatar.
