I did a search and couldn't find anything. Assuming there is enough interest, let this be a place to talk about Indoor and Outdoor rock climbing and bouldering.

I guess i just want to see if there is much interest at all before i bother posting much.

I've just started indoor climbing and I've fell in love. But I haven't had a chance to start real climbing since I went to thailand. Climbing in Krabi would a pretty cool place to start! Has anyone ever climbed there?

I have climbed twice with an old roomate who was super into it. The first time was a couple 30-50 foot, fairly easy climbs. He then comes to me and says 'wanna do a longer multipitch climb? its a fairly easy route' i say, 'alright, that sounds like fun'. we hike the two hours to get there and it turns out to be a 300 foot verticle climb, using trads the whole way up. Not only that but the route was wayyyy underclassed. It was possibly the scariest thing i have ever done, felt good when we got to the top though :)

awwww yissss!

I signed up for the rock climbing in climbing center next week. It will be my third time. It is pretty frightening to trust on god damn fucking ropes to prevent you of brutal death or horribly painful injury leading to permanent disability with deep mental scars. It reallly pisses me off because regulations are pretty good where I live, so I think the professionals working there know how to maintain the harnesses and ropes and I am much more likely to die in traffic accident, but I have developed almost complete numbness towards the risk of any fucker killing me whenever for incompetence or maliciousness.

I have been bouldering lot more often. I seem to have been stuck on certain level and I don't know what should I do about it. I am bit short in 165 cm. I exercise my core and arm muscles sometimes, it seems like obvious solution if I don't know how to improve technique.

I am not really sure how deep into climbing I want to get, but the student services offer me climbing in two different climbing centers, so I have been participating occasionally.
