ritalin and kratom

would ritalin and kratom be safe to take together? Well not at the same time but on the same day? Like a few hours in between?

I don't see an inherent issue with this. I would be careful (conservative) with dosing, but otherwise I don't see an interaction problem.

There are several components to Kratom, so it may change how the methylphenidate is metabolised.

I've read conflicting statements that combining Dopamine Reuptake inhibitors (Ritalin is a NDRI) and Dopamine Releasers, such as Amphetamine (direct DA releaser)/Opioids (indirect DA releaser) either:

a.) Mediates Dopamine Neurotoxicity
b.) Increases Dopamine Neurotoxicity

Anyone know anything about this?

If (a.) is true, then the Kratom won't be as euphoric. If (b.) is true, then the Kratom euphoria will be increased.

^I'm not quite sure about the above post, but i have mixed kratom with a lot of substances, a few were high doses of MDMA, and another time some coke, had no problems and liked both combos. i havent taken ritalin with it though, but i dont see how it would be a whole lot different.
