hi everyone, so a homeless sold me 2 3 mgs risperidone tablets. now, i know it's an antipsychotic so I don't think I'll try to use it "recreationally", but since it's an 5ht2 anatgonist, would it be useful to possibly stop a trip or something like that?
what I mean is, what could I use this for? or is it completely useless if I'm not psychotic? Also, at what dosage?

That shits easy to get but pretty useless.
From my research on Erowid, Antipsychotics can stop trips from PSYCHEDELIC drugs like LSD and mushrooms, but not DISSOCIATIVE trips like ketamine, PCP, and cough syrup
 
but i tripped my balls off on a quarter of mushrooms while on 800 mg of Quetiapine (Seroquel) which is an antipsychotic so...
 
It may help to partially counter the effects of amphetamines. Olanzapine has been usefull in this regard. I took risperidone for a while and it was just zombifying. No real value unless medically necessary.

Different kind of antipsychotic than the kind used to end trips. Same with risperidone. It might help you fall asleep at the end because it's so sedating but you're gonna want a classic antipsychotic like Thorazine or Haldol to actually slow down or stop a trip in progress.
 
wish i knew i could sell respiridone, ive got boxes and boxes of the stuff.
 
^^ well, i didn't actually want it but i bought 20 mgs of methadone and 2 xanax bars (that's what i actually wanted) and he also gave me this.. so i wanted to find if it could be useful in any way.

i have another question, would this risperidone be of any use for amphetamine comedown? as in could i take some after a night of speed to.calm a bit of the leftover stimulation without passig out or having unwanted effects?
 
^Yeah, you could potentially use it for "bad trips" or amphetamine psychosis...Seroquel seems a little more "normal" and versatile for that kind of stuff, but it will still "turn the volume" down on any unpleasant mental state...

I've heard of it being used for people who "freaked out" on MDPV specifically...
 
to whom everyone or anyone that said it doesn't stop all trips that is not true well for me and my friends and others I have experienced first hand with lsd and mushrooms but also dissociatives like pcp special k because I have first hand experience well first off I was prescribed this shit ass drug before I got prescribed my Xanax and valium and I hate risperidone/risperadal so much it has no recreational value it makes me a complete zombie and makes me feel horrible and ache my whole body hurts but I then found out it can stop bad trips for one instance I was having a bad lsd trip really not going to get into depth about the trips but this trip I took about 250 microdots of acid and an 8th of shrooms and my friend tried to calm me down to the point where ide calm down enough to take the med and I took 3mg of risperidone/Risperdal and within 10 minutes I got out of the trip I have also had a bad trip on pcp and took 2mg Risperdal on that time and the trip ended within about 15 minutes and another horrible I trip I was with a few buddies I took ketamine a blunt dipped in pcp and a small dose of acid like 3 hits blotter tabs and was having one of the worst trips ive ever did and I almost completely came back to reality due to 3.5mg Risperdal and I have experience keeping a little around when I trip with friends and I have had a countless number of people I also didn't know just met that where having bad trips where I made them take the med varying for lsd to pcp to mescaline to shrooms and it always helped them get away from the bad trip episode that is the only reason I appreciate and respect that drug is it stops those horrid trips that no one wishes to have otherwise that drug is nothing but hell and worthless garbage
 
OK it's really sad to admit this but when I was a freshmen in college, someone sold me Rispradone as Percs. I had just started pills & I'm 29 so this was before "pill identifier " & all that shit. So I bought 3 4 $5. Should've tipped me off right then. I took all 3 & never felt worse. Awful. The guy above me is right being sober is better.
 
Yes it will make it worse. I think the guy who gave it to me in college had the highest dose. I took them all(God I was so stupid when I was younger but we didn't have things like "pill identifier "(@ least I didn't have a clue if they did) he told me they were generic & I was dumb enough to fall for it. I would have had him give me advil than that stuff. I was so weak but couldn't sleep,tossing & turning,very anxious. And I didn't get dope sick so it wasn't that. I thought 3 4 $5 was cheap & should've. Went w my gut. I know it sucked bc it was 9 years ago & I remember it like it was yesterday. But everybody's different.
