i heard tha XANAX and other benzos are "minor traquilizers" ,i read that risperdal was a "major" tranquilizer,so does this mean it would be better/more funthan xanax/others like it??
It slows dopamine, seretonin, and several other receptor systems (just less potently). According to the pharmokenetics section of Rxlist.Risperidone is an antipsychotic agent belonging to a new chemical class, the benzisoxazole derivatives. The chemical designation is 3-[2-[4-(6-fluoro-1,2-benzisoxazol-3-yl)-1 -piperidinyl]ethyl]-6,7,8,9-tetrahydro-2-methyl-4H-pyrido[1 ,2-a]pyrimidin-4-one. Its molecular formula is C23H27FN4O2 and its molecular weight is 410.49.
You were prescribed Risperdal specifically to negate the effects of LSD? How in the hell did that happen?I just don't see how one drug(Risperdal) was prescribed to me to reverse the effects of another drug(LSD).
