Hi. I was wondering if I put some rice in my bag, would it make my weed any less "wet"?

my weed isn't wet, but its really fluffy and sticky. I normally like my weed this way, but they are mids and i'd rather roll up a blunt.

any thoughts on this? anyone know of any other ways to dry it out? leaving the bag open perhaps? i dont have any rice or i'd give it a try. also i'm not positive if there are any risks with this. thanks %)

rice will dry it too much, jsut like put a small peice of paper in the bag if it is actually "WET". if it's just not cured enough put it in a airtight jar for a while (week or two) and it will actually make the weed a lil' better. but if it is just tooo dank/sticky for you to handle use a grinder, stickiness shouldn't be a 'problem'.

i do use a grinder. it actually hardly grinds up because it all sticks together at the top. i just left the bag open for a little bit and now its fine. /thread

Get a brown paper bag put it in there, this is the best way to dry it out. Basically the stem of the bud should snap not just bend then you know it's dry enough, after that keep it in a airtight glass jar.

If you can put your weed in a vial (like a drug prescription vial) and cut a hole at the top of the cap and place a film of PVAc (polyvinyl acetate), this will ensure a fairly constant relative humidity within the container. You must cap the weed in an environment at or less than 25% relative humidity, which may be hard, depending on where you live.
