Dude with an interest in anti-aging supports the claim greying hair is reversible:

I personally think I messed up my image by years spent eating horrible junk food.

Recently I've gone on a Mediterranean diet super high in anti-oxidants, so I guess I'll see does that have any effect.

Has anyone actually experienced a reversal in greying hair?

The question as to whether melanotan would accomplish this is answered in the negative, unfortunately.

Supplements or chemicals that may assist, as far as I can tell only overcompensate for suboptimal dietary habits?

Go for it bro idk if it's going to work. You take prescription stims right, that you will grey you out. You'll probably get it reversed and then get more gray hair. I'm 31 and I'm grey as hell.

GR7, is designed to stimulate melanin production in hair follicles. It includes popular hair-supporting ingredients like glycerin, biotin, and tyrosine.

Mayraki, a product that claims its “patented active ingredient boosts melanin production at the bulb and stimulates natural pigmentation.”

Wasn t the main biochemical change in the follicle self,
a enzyme, Catalase, that normally breaks down Hydrogen-Peroxide.

And when its no longer there ? The Hydrogen-Peroxide build up
starts bleaching from inside. Gradually greying the hair.

There is a story about Kombucha
reversing this, which i can t confirm. Didn t know its also
linked to life stress. Had a lot when i really started after 40,
but it also seemed inherited, looking at my Mom.

But maybe its the vulnerability to stress we share.
The link Stress- Cortisol- depletion of Cupper- essential for hair colour.

Graying hair is a natural part of the aging cycle. Pigment follicles in your hair die as you grow older, which leads to less and less colour in your hair. However, for some individuals graying hair can occur faster than desired. This is due to increased levels of hydrogen peroxide that are produced during the antioxidation process that occurs in your cells. There are two important genes that control the two-part oxidation process. Your SOD2 gene creates the enzyme that converts harmful oxidants into hydrogen peroxide. Your GPx gene then produces the enzyme that converts hydrogen peroxide into water and diatomic oxygen. If you produce a lot of hydrogen peroxide but don’t convert it at an equal rate into water and oxygen, you are more likely to have graying hair.

That's interesting, I've never heard that hydrogen peroxide theory.

Any known intervention to reduce this process?

It may also explain why hair goes whispy and frail with age also as it greys......... almost as if it's been heavily bleached.

Oxidative stress contributing to greying, it makes reference to hydrogen peroxide not being catalysed.

"Pseudocatalase" acting to remedy this? Used in vitiligo also.

However, there is no current clinical evidence that pseudocatalase supplements can prevent or reverse gray hair development.

I think in this context that means, studies just haven't been conducted yet.

I'd like to think my new super-heavy anti-oxidant diet may address the issue on some level, without having to apply a topical.

I always thought stress was the thing that turned peoples hair gray early.
is it the same process as this with the hydrogen peroxide?

They are along with genetic s working together.
High stress eats anti-oxidants, so guessing hair follicles and Hydro-Peroxide.
Are of lesser importance as other things, like the Hippo-Campus.

Why did my hair get its colour seemingly back,
with my own brew Kombucha, causality or a direct connection ?
During it went back to colour, now its pretty much grey.

Kombucha like does alot of good for your intestines i believe. Maybe you home brewed some like ultra kombucha that messes with the peroxide.

Do you drink Kombucha, or apply it topically?

Been looking on internet for a scientific explanation why it could work.
And saw also topical mentioned, Kombucha shampoo.
Or Kombucha vinegar, which i know [Apple vinegar] is used as shampoo.

But when i brew it it was pure oral, but daily for years in good portion s.
Not 1 250 ml can a day, of which i don t even know how its compared to DIY.

But during brewing while digging for info, saw many claims of reversal of
greying hair. And as its a slow proces it seemed to work so in me.
But only a before/ during/ after photo s comparison would acknowledge it,
And then its still a causal connection.

i d say it worked. But for now its just a myth. Assuming stress/ depletion
anti-oxidant s plays a role. I can assume its at least in general good.
Lots of that, and its filled with good Bacteria for gut health. 1+1=3.

Lemon juice, esp combined with sun, lightens hair

Vinegar,of any kind, lightens hair

Caffeine tag bags darken it ( and there are possibly hair stimulate benefits from caffeine)

Does that mean green tag bags will cause a green hue to hair ?

Chamomile supposed to lighten hair

I'm pushing 50 and only have a few grey's. If stress causes grey hair i should be all grey. I think genetics determines that. My mom passed at 68 with hardly any grey.
I don't care if I do, getting old is a privilege alot don't have so it's something to be proud of imo

Screw that getting old sucks. I’m just starting to grey in my mid 50s. My wife did long before that. I think it mostly boils down to genetics and ain’t much to be done about that.

I'm about a 3rd Grey and at 45 it looks good.

By way of mechanism of action, cialis works and so does psilocybin in down stream effects
