After reading a few studies on the RED-diet and how it can improve symptoms of adhd in children, I have decided I want to give it a go. What made me especially interested is the profound effect it can have on somatic issues associated with adhd. (headaches, thirst, perspiration, tiredness, etc.) Which are all things I have experienced and still experience sometimes, possibly due to diet choices.

I realise that these studies were done on children, but I really doubt that really matters and feel that trying a RED-diet is the least I can do. I do not like the idea that I'm litterally poisoning myself with food I can't handle.
I do not know how to set it up correctly though. I work out a lot, and eat about 200 grams of protein a day, most of it from dairy sources. I need to find a way to get my macronutrients in by eating hypoallergenic foods. Anybody have experience with this kind of diet? Also, would whey powder still be okay? It is obviously from dairy but contains no lactose.
