This is some very specific kind of relationship, I don't know if there's an specific word for this in english, but in the case it isn't we can call them "resprouting" relationships. This kind of relationship would be included in a wider kind of relationships, the "transitional" relationship, not that every "resprouting" relationship ends up being a transitional one, but for whatever obvious or esoteric reason... tends to be the case.
So well, what I call a "resprouting" relationship? here we go:
A resprouting/regrowth relationship would be a relationship that one has after being a long time “dry”, that is, a long time without a relationship for spiritual or emotional reasons. It should be noted that this does not necessarily mean that the main point is to have gone through a “dry spell” in the sexual sense, this is not what characterizes these relationships, but the fact of having had the heart closed by a depression or trauma or something similar, having gone through a moment of dryness or (apparent) emotional death.
I think what characterizes these relationships is their innocence, their intensity, their strange and “adolescent” strength, their spontaneity and (I'm afraid) their brevity. They are usually due to a crush, although they can also be due to getting to know each other, if the “dry” person needs a greater guarantee.
Another important issue of these relationships is that they make the “amatory tissues”, and I am not only referring to the sexual ones, wake up again and bloom again, as if it were a spring act.
I am currently in this situation and really everything I am taking (kratom, muscaria..) is making me feel better, I live a little afraid but what makes me most happy is to think that whatever happens, I will be able to love again, and it is something that makes me very happy, after a time of “disgust” and “resentment”, even contempt for myself and the nature of women.
It happens that the girl I like is 15 years younger, which complicates things but I think it fits with many of the cases of this type of relationships (women younger than the man, full of life and innocence, less “complicated”, less neurotic). I needed this, I am not justifying anything, I just wanted to share with you if you have gone through this process, and how it went for you.
