Trying to get over an opiate addiction, I started doing IV coke in large amounts. Thankfully I wised up today when I saw myself in the mirror, and stepped on the scale, 107lbs. I'm a male, 5'11". I've never been really thick, but 130-135 is my norm.

I'm not addicted to the coke, it was only a binge for about 3 weeks, but it was constant, every day, all day.

How can I regain weight quickly? High carbs? Any one have specific advice other than just general good-diet tips?

high carbs..starchy foods.. add a nutritional drink to your current diet (dont replace a meal but maybe add 2-3 carnations instant breakfasts or slim fasts) a day.

I've heard some bad ideas in my day and this is up there. Substituting iv cocaine "all day, every day" for an opiate habit is neither a good life choice nor a good way to break a drug habit IMO.

+1 on the whey protein and 3 meal regimen. If you're really looking to gain weight fast, you could always stock up on weed and ice cream haha. But seriously though eating healthy is the way to go as you try to get that weight back on.

I didn't ever think it was a GOOD idea... it more so just happened. I did it and realized I didn't feel the withdrawals while I was rushing my ass off so I kept doing it, which turned into the every day all day thing, which lasted the 3 weeks.

I actually thought about the weed thing, I might just take a few days from work and pig out, haha.

It's always been really hard for me to gain weight anyway from a super metabolism, which is why I stay around 130. Now I'm worried I won't be able to get any of this weight back and be stuck around 110lbs.

I feel unhealthy : /

Stock up on those protein drinks that have the extra calories and drink them inbetween your normal meals. For me I always found that once I'm off the uppers for awhile my appetite comes back and it's easy to gain back some of the weight.

I'm a fast metaboliser as well and I usually average around 145lbs and I'm 5'11 too, it's always been hard for me to gain weight so I'm not the best person to ask. I know how it sucks to feel too skinny after a particularly long amphetamine binge, it sucks. It's strange to be on the other side of the coin because everybody wants to lose weight and I have to TRY HARD just to gain weight.

I think if you've stopped the cocaine and maybe smoke some weed or something some of it will come back naturally. Some of it you may have to work for, I'm trying to gain some weight myself at the moment.

Read "Diary Of An Addict As A Young Man", I just started it so I don't know how it ends but I know the author lost over 40lbs in an epic crack binge which the book chronicles in detail, I know he gained it all back and got sober again, so far it's a damn good book. It's fairly new too. Of course it may be a bit triggering so maybe it's a bad idea.

Daang, i'm 5'8 and 125lbs and i blame that on my opiate addiction.

you're skinny bro, but theres shit to be done about that. smoke a lot of weed, eat lots of protein and make sure you don't miss any meals. pig out, but dont' fuck your stomach up.

make sure you aren't doing opiates either, because i'm sure you're all too familiar with the constipation...
