My friend has given me some Adrenaline injections. The details are as follows:
Adrenaline Ampules 1/1000 1ml 5
Each 1ml ampule contains:
Adrenaline Acid Tartate 1.82mg
Sodium something
and Sodium (what looks like chloride).
I'm in the process of evaporating two of them to a powder. Any advice, tips?

You should have just left them how they were. The danger of IV use comes from injection of impurities so you should have just given these a bang.

Ummm, recreational value? No....Its a strong CNS stimulant but doesn't do much for your mind. Its not like meth that affects mind+body....You'll just get jittery.....like caffeeen....

As I recall (possibly incorrectly), the side effects of Adrenaline use are pretty much the same as going into anathalactic(sp) shock.
ie. Cold sweat, sickness, jitters, etc etc.
I wouldn't bother.
Maybe you could run a synth on it and make some of that "adrenochrome" stuff

just try ephadra, mate. it mimics adrenaline. its quite nice and i've never had a comedown from it but it can put a strain on your body. i've snorted ephedrine hcl and procaine (or at least that is what i was told it contained) - i got a nice speed/coke like buzz from it. poor guys coke perhaps.

It has very little recreational value, IMO. It makes you anxious, shaky, makes your heart pound, and has no pleasant mental effects--no euphoria or increased drive.

what denial said...have you ever seen Pulp Fiction? remember when Uma Thurman ODed and they had to revive her...that was adrenaline they stuck her with...i would rather get an adrenaline rush from a natural fear response (such as sky diving or looking down the barrel of a loaded gun) cuz after yer adrenal glands are done pumping...you get that nice flow of beta endorphins goin

Rxlist….
“Erroneous administration of large doses of epinephrine may lead to precordial distress (chest pain), vomiting, headache, dyspnea, as well as unusually elevated blood pressure. (See WARNINGS.) Toxic effects of overdosage can be counteracted by injection of an alpha-adrenergic blocker and a beta-adrenergic blocker. In the event of a sharp rise in blood pressure, rapid-acting vasodilators such as the nitrites, or alpha-adrenergic blocking agents can be given to counteract the marked pressor effect of large doses of epinephrine”
Doesn’t say it causes heart attacks but I don’t think a spike in blood pressure is too good for you.I bet a healthy young person could get away with it. Heck they give to people to inject into themselves when they get stung by bees. he he he

it doesn't give you euphoria but it does give you increased drive and mental focus. there have been a number of fatalities from it, though, from people using it as a work-out stimulant (in which case if you take enough then your asking for it). when i did it my heart went mad but no more than on speed. i got a rush from it alright, but it was a little edgy, but then i am often kinda edgy anyway so i quite liked it.

Correct, adrenaline is ependefrin....A key chemical released from methamphetamine, amphetamine, etc....But just like seretonin is a key chemical released from MDMA, it does not penetrate the BBB. If you injected ependefrin directly into your brain's synapse it would work great, but other then that, it will not penetrate the blood brain barrier well. Thats why it does not produce any euphoria or drive. It really has no recreational value. It is probably one of the strongest stimulants there are but only for the body. This is why its so hard on the body and causes all those great negitive effects.

Tad, thast what I was thinking. But whats being described here seems very different from what was in the movie. Thompson was lethargic and parcticaly paralized from what ever he took, wasn't he?
