that "glad i ate her" track was re released just like 2 weeks ago, probably could have got it cheaper new than on ebay
 
i got it for 8.99 so i dont know if i really could have got it all that much cheaper and no shipping because its in LA like me so i'm picking it up from him

was the re-release a white label? or the original?
 
its always been a one sided whitelabel


yeah i know the original was fire 999, and it sells for upwards of 2-300 dollars i believe. You probably did get the re release if you got it that cheap.


i was wondering (if anyone knows), but wasn't this produced by cass alone, not cass and slide?

I know they sound gay being vengaboys and all, but a dumonde remix would be sick..

Theres also another rare vengaboys track on vinyl which is insane, Its called: The Cardigans - My Favourite Game (VengaBoys Remix) .. I cant find it anywhere or any mp3's of it .. hmm, if you spot this try and pick it up :D

You might wanna try Ameoba Records. Its a big shop that sells all kinds of music but they have a nice electronic vinyl section.
other than that i'd say Compound, but i don't think they are there anymore :\
 
yeah, compound is out of business. i didnt know they had an ameoba in SF, i go to the one in hollywood all the time great place
 
they have an amoeba records store (which is where i would recommend going in SF - lots of used vinyls etc.) in the Haight/Ashbury district, it's right around the corner of Stanyan and Haight St

yeah there is an amoeba in SF that you should check out, although i do think that the OG one in berkeley is superior(if you go to berkeley you may as well stop by Rasputin records, also on telegraph). i was at ESDJCO, which is on haight street. there are a handful of other shops in that area that are more house oriented, ie tweakin records which if i'm not mistaken is also on haight street.

park your car, walk around, record shop and enjoy the city :)

yeah bay area music stores are dope: I RARELY buy new cd's any more- cuz Amobea or Rasputin has great used sections of cd's and records...

In berkeley, check out Rasputin, Amoeba, Skills, Primal, and Funky Riddims (hip hop).... All within a few blocks of each other- Telegraph area... I hit most of them on a weekly basis between classes.... and get a piece of pizza from FAT SLICE while your there!!

SF- for centrality go to Haight St.- Amoeba, F-8 (across the street), and a few blocks down is ESDJCO, and Spundae(?)...and i'm sure a few others.

I just moved to the bay area last year and I am CONSTANTLY finding record stores (esp. in SF)- so look around and have fun digging!!!!
