Bupe Questions about suboxone

Hello! So a little background info before I get into the questions: I used to take a lot of opiates a couple years ago. As of this last year ive slowed down my use considerably.

I only occasionally take them now. About 3 weeks ago I took about 45 mg of oxycodone in the form of roxy 15's and I barely got a nod. Last weekend I took 30mg hydro and didnt really nod but had a good time.

Today my friend shot me a text saying he had one 8/2mg suboxone film. I have heard about them before but knew I couldnt take them with the way I would take opiates before. So like I said I slowed down my taking and havent taken any opiates for a week so I decided to give it a try. I cut the strip into 1/4s and took a quarter and shared 2 more quarters with some of my buddys.

So I approximately took 2mg around 430, its now 1110pm and im still high as a kite. It came on slow, but I could feel an initial opiate body high after around 15minutes after the film disolved under my tongue.

I really like the high and I have about 2mg left give or take. 1.)Is it okay for me to take the other 2mg tomorrow? 2.) Is it bad to use suboxone in a recreational way? 3.) If i take the other 2mg tomorrow how would it affect me? 4.)how long would I have to wait to take other opiates? 5.) How do you get the most bang for your buck with these films? Im pretty sure this is a one time purchase because I dont think I have access to any more (probably a good thing)

Also one more question 6.) Can you plug the film? Like could I just take the film and stick it up there?

1. Yes
2. Abusing anything is bad... End of story.
3. Probably the same way... If anything maybe a little less potent since it stays in the system long.
4. 36hrs minimum if not more or you'll be wasting opiates. Bupe kills opiate buzzes, even when IVed you can feel the bupe pushing the opiates away.
5. Varies from person to person. That's something u gotta find out on your own.
6. Yes. But you must first dissolve it into a liquid, then use an oral syringe to get it up there.
 
Thanks for answering all my questions. In your opinion what is the best way to get high off of theses films?
 
As with any drug, using it a second day in a row at the same dose will give you diminished effects. You are better off waiting a few more days before taking the rest.
 
When it comes to these, less is more. The less you take, the more norbupe that gets created making it act more like an agonist, at higher doses it starts acting like an antagonist. You don't want that. Stick to low doses and simply put it under your tongue..
 
Out of just about every other opioid out there, buprenorphine is one of the worst when it comes to diminishing euphoria with regular usage....After a few days, it tends to go away completely. Use very sparingly when seeking recreational effects.

When I was first prescribed suboxone in early 2007 I had been clean for over a month and before that I was just using on the weekends (I only started taking it because I was in treatment court and the psych at the outpatient program was pushing it on me since he said that his patients that were on it had incredible results in terms of it curbing their cravings), so when I first took it I got so high and was thinking "wow, this is what they give you to stay clean!?!?" I got really high from it the first few days, then on day 3-4 I got a lot less high, and by day 4-5 I barely felt anything from the dose.

From then on I had to take 3 days off of it and wait until I was in withdrawals if I wanted to get high from it, and it only worked well for one day. That made it hardly worth it to take a few days off and experience withdrawals for one mediocre high, so I only did that when I would run out a few days before my refill.

So I agree with you that it's the worst opiate in terms of diminished euphoria with each consecutive use. With any other opiate you can lower your dosage for a few days and then take a higher dose and get a good high, but with bupe that simply doesn't work, especially since I don't feel any additional euphoria with doses above like 4-6mg, so 2mg is just as good as 4mg for me so dropping down to 2mg for a few days won't allow a 4mg dose to get me higher.

I'm sure that it has a lot to do with the half-life, and since it's so long it's pretty much like re-dosing since you pretty much always have it in your system if you are on maintenance or take it within 3 days of the previous dose, and with me I don't get that high from re-dosing opiates so it's best to just wait it out and start fresh once it leaves your system.
 
Holy shit how long does this shit last? I took this at 430pm yesterday its now 8 am and im just as high as I was when I went to bed.... if not higher. Is this normal?

Yeah this. It doesn't take long at all for whatever high you got from bupe to disappear completely.

It lasts a long time, that;s why it is used to treat opiate addicts in maintenance. It has a 36 hour half-life.
