I had never heard about these research chemicals until I started reading this forum. Seems quite interesting. What exactly are they? From what I've seen most of them seem to be amphetmue type, are there other types? Are they like new medications that are being tested? It seems like if they are they would be quite risky to be using.

They are newly created chemicals, packaged as NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION. They have never been tested on Humans until they appear on RC websites, they are dangerous untested chemicals that people die from. I would not reccomend taking them. That doesn't mean I haven't tried them and people on these forums aren't taking them.

Its impossible to know the negative effects they are having.

But in my opinion it is safer to take stuff you get on the streets. Its impossible to know the negative effects they are having.

Getting drugs off of the streets is just as dangerous-ever heard of tainted rolls? or heroin cut with fentanyl analogs that have hotspots?

I don't think using any drug is safe-whether it is legal consequences or health problems, using drugs is going to involve some risk. This isn't to say I think drugs are bad but saying that illicit drugs are safer than RC's is kind of a stretch. I say this not because the actual illicits are dangerous, rather, that illicit drugs don't have any laws regarding their production and as a result, you can be sold some seriously nasty stuff as your illicit drug of choice.

Using RC's can be risky though based on unknown side effects.

I'd go with a little more than kinda risky. Experienced drug users usually know how to be careful with new drugs. If you are not an experienced drug user I wouldn't go anywhere near them!

From my general experience, given how WIDELY RC's very in type and theoretical danger, it really is kind of up in the air. Some RCs would seem riskier than others, while yet others seem relatively speaking less dangerous than many street drugs, and yes of course all are a little risky at best just because of how new they are.

There is no safe drug, but that doesn't mean they're especially dangerous. You just gotta know what you're dealing with as well as you possibly can. This can be a problem with RCs for generally different reason than with street drugs, but it can be just as much an issue for shit you buy on the street.

I have known a number of heroin suppliers (tar) to cut their dope with, among other ingredients, instant coffee and pork or beef blood... Makes for good dope actually 8(

I like that last part of this if nothing else. Very VERY true! If you don't know what you're doing to begin with no sense in taking more risks than necessary. At the very least you should have someone who knows what they're doing teach you.

I see your point. So redacted.

As toothpastedog pretty much said, you can't throw all RCs in the same bag and just say they're all extremely dangerous. Generally the longer a drug has been on market and the more reviews we have, the closer it gets to a "normal" illegal drug. Probably the most (in)famous RC mephedrone has been around for about 5 or 6 years and I think that 2 years ago it was already safe to say that the risks it involves are pretty much the same as with cocaine, except you had MUCH better chance of getting clean product. Now it's illegal almost everywhere though so it can hardly be called RC anymore...

However when taking things like A-PBP or 5-methyl-ethylone you serve as guinea pig as it can cause (theoretically) any bad side effects and/or kill you with a small dose since there is so little info.

I'm going to close this, because there are hundreds and hundreds of RCs on the market now (maybe thousands at this point) and there's no way we can give you a general answer about all of them...

If you're looking for information about a specific RC, however...
