My friend just bought 10 acid tabs. I have never done them before but i would like to. My mood lately isnt that great so could that affect my trip?

I have never done any psychedelics, i only smoke pot and occasional ecstasy.

So...What is lsd like? What should i expect? How many tabs should i take?
any other info that i should know is apreciated.

For your first time, I'd recommend taking no more than two. Even two is pushing it for some people. Of course, the strength of the tabs is so bloody variable that you might get something weak (like a 20 ug tab) or something ridiculously powerful. I'd have your friend try it to see how powerful it is and go from there.

Also, a bad mood is probably a horrible mindset to be going into a first acid trip. Maybe try toking a little bit beforehand, if toking will better your mood.
 
I think pot + acid don't combine well at all, unless you're a heavy smoker and need it to feel normal.

Don't do it if you're in a bad mood, if it's something you're trying to ignore acid has a tendancy to press your face up against your problems and yell at you to confront them.

If the bad mood isn't that serious, go for it. Maybe take 1 and then if you like it take another 1 after an hour.

I took 1 tab for maybe my first 10-20 times and it was more than enough. 2 is awesome (for average tabs) but I wouldn't fully recommend it to newcomers.

Read as much as you can. Set + setting are just words but they are also IMPORTANT when it comes to acid.
 
you cant explain LSD though..reading trip reports is important but you have to know that it can be nothing like what you read, and that you cant explain plenty of shit in words to put into a trip report in the 1st place. or at least i cant.
