Misc Question regarding Kratom usage

Hi fellow Bluelighters, i've found 2grs of kratom in my drawer and considering using it, it says on the package that it expires in 2010 my question is will i feel any effects if i use it and is there any risk as it's been expired? Thanks in advance.

That is impossible to say without knowing the strain and its potency (which can vary a lot) and also your tolerance.
If it is not some kind of very potent extract 2g is definitely too low of a dose to achieve any desired effects in my experience.

I can't say anything regarding the expired aspect but 2g aren't even worth the taste^^

Never knew it had an expiration date! Can't imagine a plant would "go bad" in the sense of making you sick, but start with a low dose if you're worried.

If anything, it will likely just lose potency over time.

There is no way we can give dosing advice not knowing what it is. If it's a very potent extract and you have no tolerance and/or are rather sensitive to its effects, 2g could be too much and on the other hand, as Mr. Tate said, if it's plain leaf, 2g probably won't be enough to feel and would simply be disgusting to ingest.

If this isn't YOUR kratom, whose drawers are you going through?
