Question about split dosing Methadone

I have been on MMT for six months and currently have take home doses. I am on 100mg per day. I was wondering if anyone knows how it would affect me if I split the dose and take 75mg in the morning and 25mg at night. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Redosing with Methadone is pretty much pointless when trying to get high, but in your case, it could possibly extend the duration, so it might be helpful. However, the difference will be so negligible that it would still be pointless to do unless the regular 100mg isn't lasting long enough for you and you need it extended.

In other words, there is no point in doing this.

Usually a split dose is required if your initial does does not hold you. In your case it sounds like it probably does and if it does it usually takes max 3 days to notice any w/d if you stop.
Some split for pain relief.
To answer your question, if the above are assumed, I'd say no difference.
