Question about Ready Rock - Crack

I've been smoking ready rock (crack) for some time and can't seem to still get it right. I use a stem (rose) with chuy (choir boy filter) and either put too much or not enough on or I burn it with too much heat. I've seen people move the flame back and forth but I just hold the flame at the bottom tip of the stem. Sometimes I get white smoke and sometimes I get a brown oily smoke. A gentle pull to inhale the smoke seems to work better than a hard inhaled pull. Any tips on a more efficient and productive method of using a stem? Thanks

Hold the flame one inch away any move in a circular motion. Pactice makes perfect.

OMG, I remember I put a rock in a volcano, Craziest thing ever.

I think you would have an easier time with an Eagle Bill vaporizer pipe.

Thank you. I tried your suggestion. What a difference! It tastes cleaner and more potent. Stem and filter are cleaner afterwards; usually both are black and then I have to change the filter after each hit.

yes, that copper on the chore boy is bad stuff - - I normally burn it off first until the chore is more brown color than orange color. I don't think you want to be inhaling to much of that orange coating.

Even then, I would give it a burn way before putting it in the stem.
That shit is more toxic than the shit you are smoking if you inhale it.

That is the whole reason I stopped trying to make these horrid improvised smoking apparatuses.
