Opioids Question about mixing 2 opiods..

I'm currently in a methadone maintenance treatment program. They have me on 130mg per day.

Before I started taking methadone, my doctor prescribed me 100mg Nucynta (extended release pills) for my back pain, which has started acting up again recently.. even though I'm taking methadone

Anyway does anyone know if it's safe to take a 100mg Nucynta pill, while on this much methadone?

(I did try searching for answers before posting, but couldn't find specific mentions amount of mg. Mine is particularly high..)

With the blockade effect from being on that much methadone, you're not going to feel anything.

off topic to OP just didnt want to start a new thread with basically the same heading.

Planning on combining codeine with some poppy seed tea. is there any rule of thumb on lowering codeine dose for such thing? would normally have 400mg but am reducing it to 200mg. Or should i go less.
