Ok so I just got a connect for 20mg ritalin tablets (technically its methylin brand, not ritalin) and I have some questions regarding extracting the methylphenidate. I used the search engine and found a basic tek on this, which said to crush and powderize the pills, put the powder on a coffer filter over a cup, and pour some drinking grade ethanol such as everclear on it, then evaporate the ethanol leaving behind pure MPH. My questions are:
1) can rubbing alcohol be used instead of drinking grade alcohol?
2) will this method work with a small amount of pills, say 3 or 4 20mg tabs?
3) will this be safer to IV then just filtering a pill through cotton?( which I have done before, and while I know shooting pills is never totally safe, I didnt die or have any ill effects)
4) does methylin have talc in it like ritalin does?
All answers are welcome, as long as your not just saying "dont shoot pills" because I already know its not healthy and im going to do it anyway.
