Question about methadone drug tests, is this normal?

I've been doing some research and, though I get mixed answers, I've gathered that methadone is detectable in urine for anywhere from a few days to a week. Now, I took methadone for 3 days, 40mg, November 3rd-5th. I was tested two days ago December 23rd and it came up positive for methadone (among other things). But has anyone here ever heard of methadone being in your urine for almost 2 months?? Especially after taking a relatively small amount for only 3 days? All the searches I conducted seemed to indicate that it only lasts a week at best.

I've heard Methadone shows up in your system for 6-12 days, not two months.

Are you currently under treatment with any psychoactive medications? A quick Google suggests that some of them can produce false positives for methadone and that even though confirmatory tests will show negative, those are not routinely done.

I am not using any other medication. And like mentioned, 12 days max. I m greatly perturbed by the fact that this showed up nearly 2 months later.

methadone a small dose took once 20mg... after not having taken subs for a few days was detected in my urine 3 weeks later....
