Opioids Question about lope/LDN switch

Yesterday I saw a new pain doctor with whom I was really impressed, and he prescribed me LDN (low dose naltrexone) to try for my nerve pain. I know I can't switch from CNS opiates directly to naltrexone for obvious reasons, but I am having some mild withdrawal symptoms and I was wondering if it would be okay to take some loperimide today for that and then start the naltrexone tomorrow or the next day since the naltrexone works exclusively in the CNS and the lope only binds to the gut receptors. Will I have any adverse effects?
 
maybe wait longer since lope's half-life is long so u can avoid any possible "adverse effects".

There are lots of unpleasant interactions when taken together in 8/10 people.
