Harm Reduction Question about Ketamine and Harm Reduction

I grabbed 1.2g of racemic Ketamine

I started using it 6-7 weeks ago (a few times a week)

The 1.2g lasted me the whole time.

I plan on taking a week or two off and maybe continuing in the future. I am 42 and I haven’t used K before this in over a decade. I used to go to raves and do a g in a night! Never had any problems with my bladder or K pains

Now that I’m using it for depression in these micro doses do I have anything to worry about in terms of bladder damage? Does it just happen one day and you wake up pissing blood or is it a long slow process of having signs and neglecting them?

I should add the reason I’m paranoid is because I’m now in recovery and I don’t use drugs to party.

With opioids I knew I was getting hooked and I just ignored the signs until it was too late. It’s not like I took a few pills and then all of a sudden woke up with an addiction or withdrawal.

Is it the same thing w K. I’m almost super and overly paranoid that somehow I will just wake up and catch an addiction or bladder problems LOL. I’m aware of drugs don’t work like that but all of these people posting pictures of bloody piss freaks me out

Yea in my opinion K can be just as, if not moreso, addictive than Opioids. With heroin and friends I knew early on I was addicted. K addiction is slow and insidious, you don’t know you have it until it’s way far along. It also messes with your memory where you forget you don’t wanna do it anymore. Kinda scary actually how it works.

For me I rarely use it, but I can’t seem to stop with this once a week/every other week type of use. I hardly ever get afterglows anymore yet still find myself thinking it will.

Just be careful man, sounds like we’ve been down similar roads (15yrs on Bupe personally) so just watch yourself with this stuff.
