Psytrance parties - fashion?

I've gone to a few psytrance parties and I absolutely LOVE them. I love the vibe and the friendliness and the music and everything. Everyone is so peaceful and happy and in tune with everything ... I can't even describe how much I love it!

So I dress pretty normally when I go there, but I love their fashion. A lot of the other females are wearing the coolest clothes! I want to wear something cool ... but I don't even know how to put something like that together? I don't even know where to start! So I didn't know if anyone here would have done that kind of thing before or even have any suggestions?

Note: feel free to move this if you want. I just thought I could put it in psychedelics because that is pretty much why psytrance parties exist (although I haven't gotten into psychedelics too much ... yet ...)
 
Wear a dashiki. they are comfortable and fucking sweet looking!!



I've got a few, really fun to look at the tiny details when high.

This is store in Australia that specializes in that type of clothing, i don't know of any in Canada unfortunately.. but you might be-able to find out from them if they know of other stores elsewhere that specializes in similar clothing, i think they may do international shipping.. not sure.
 
the best place to get those are psytrance festivals. They usually have a flee market where you can shop for some nice and unusual clothes.

Very good advice.

The only problem with psytrance fashion is that it is mostly REALLY super expensive.
So a lot of my clothes that I wear out to psy parties I've actually made myself :)
Skirts are easy to make, fluffy legwarmers are even easier, pants are a bit harder but can definitely be done.
I haven't mastered how to make any tops yet :)

I can sew ... I figure I should be able to put together something. I make tank tops for myself sometimes ... I made a skirt before ... like regular clothes. I should be able to create something! It is just there is sooo many options. I think I just need to take a trip to the fabric store to find some cool patterns or something !!!
 
I dont know much about the fashion of the canadian scene, but in Europe most people will go for "ethnic" stuff (indian, peruvian etc.) available in esoteric shops.

my standard psytrance party attire is a cyberdog t-shirt, cargo shorts (for comfort and pockets) and my running shoes (need appropriate footwear if i'm going to dance all night):

I have this old t-shirt from middle school (yeah, I haven't grown in a decade lol) that's from a competition called 'Future City', its got this 70s retro sci-fi style image of a city on it and is otherwise just a plain white shirt. Love wearing it out while tripping, people are always perplexed by it for some reason hahahahah
