Psilocybin Trips revoking childhood memories/feelings...etc.

After thinking about it for a while and asking around, I believe Psilocybin trips (shrooms) can revoke childhood memories and feelings that one may not even remember (consciously). Does anyone know of any good studies that have proven the subconscious being revealed through a psilocybin trip?

I've tripped only a few times and the last one was horrifying aka BAD TRIP. I felt scared, helpless, and almost completely disgusted of the human kind and this world... in some ways similar to how my feelings were when I was a child... I was very sheltered, shy, scared of many things and my parents didn't seem to think anything of it. Now, I'm thinking that my subconscious contains these feelings?

The first trip was nothing like it...maybe the last batch was bad? Not sure, but please share any thoughts/experiences.

I think that psychedelics certainly can. Parts of your mind that you normally do not travel too are fully opened up. I know that in certain instances they have made me feel like a child, as for memories I cannot honestly say I remember any popping up. However I am fairly sure it is plausible to say that they can.

.maybe the last batch was bad? .

it sounds to me like the last batch was too good!

this has never happened to me but one time i dosed my friend WAY to high and every time he closed his eyes he relived a past memory and when id disturb him or hed open his eyes he was like holy shit i thought i was in a different city lol

When I smoke a lot of weed, it evokes (not revokes by the way) all kinds of forgotten childhood memories--even "body memories"! I remembered the all in one motion I used to use climbing over a wall on the way to school on a path I walked for many years.

I can even take a journey and walk through childhood homes and see things I had completely forgotten about. And the best part is I can remember them the next day.

I think a lot of psychedelics break down the wall between the subconscious and the conscious. And there is a LOT more content in the former, including the things that have made an impression on our minds all through our life, especially childhood. :)
