PS3 Bluetooth Headset - Need advice!

Hey guys. A while back, I bought a LG BT headset for my 20gb PS3 [has a 150gb HDD that I swapped out]. It cuts out a buttload, as in stops transmitting every other sentence or so, which is pretty damn annoying when I'm playing an FPS game (mw2).

I'm considering sucking it up and buying a GOOD BT headset, which is what I shoulda done in the beginning -.-

Im currently looking at the Sony PS3 BT and the DarkLite EX-01 headsets.. Do you guys have any opinions/ comparisons about these two before I buy? The main thing I like about the DarkLite is that it looks a bit more comfortable and has the ability to be swapped to either side. (I say this because I get a pretty sore ear after gaming for a while with my LG on)

The little research I did has everyone loving the actual ps3 one. I am about to get it myself literally within a few hours. Ill let you know.

Reasons I want it.

1. Its only 50 bucks

2. Becomes a speakerphone while charging

3. On screen battery monitor

Got the ps3 one. Love it. Pairing is as easy as plugging it in. Muting the mic will bring up an on screen notification.

The only thing I don't like is that while it is muted it gives an audible beep every 15-20 seconds. It drives me crazy because if no one is saying anything or there's someone yelling and screaming I often stay muted for the game. Not a huge deal though I'd definitely recommend it first.
