Taken at therapeutic doses, it would hopefully help with his depression. Mirtazapine (remeron) is mostly taken at night because it causes sleepiness.

IME depending on the dose of the remeron, it can cause some good damn sleep
i was prescribed that same combo prozac in the morning for anxiety/depression throughout the day and remeron at night for sleep
