Protonitazepyne detected in Australian Heroin

Hi folks this is just a quick PSA. I purchased 3.5g of heroin from a dark web vendor on a popular platform. I only use a small amount every week, around 250mg, but every three months I have it tested by a friend with access to NMR. In the past this vendor has always supplied high purity heroin hydrochloride containing no other active compounds. However this time the material contained both heroin hydrochloride and protonitazepyne.

This is extremely concerning as heroin sold in Australia is known to be reasonably pure and as such, many users do not test their heroin. It's not entirely clear how potent protonitazepyne is, but I believe it could seriously harm the average Aussie heroin user as we arent used to highly potent opioids. I have messaged the vendor requesting an explanation as I have a good relationship with them and they are highly regarded. I do not know if they are aware it is contaminated with protonitazepyne.

I wish I could name the vendor in question to protect any other bluelighters but it is obviously against the rules.

If you buy, use/sell heroin bought from the domestic darkweb market in Australia you must test it.

Thanks for this info, myself and few others are constantly testing the main vendors on the main markets, and as you said it is almost consistently high purity non-adulterated type 4 (the usual 10-15% is just standard non-psychoactive or dangerous cut/impurity from the synthesis.)
