I found 2 vials of Promethazine HCl 25mg vials in my house and was wondering. I know that this isn't the ingredient that you can make "lean" with but I know it does amplify opiate effects. My questions is can I drink this solution or must it be injected?

Promethazine can be taken orally, and without posting the inactive ingredients we really can't know for sure but, I see no reason why it can't be taken orally.

Typically ampules that are meant strictly for IV use only would be a drug that isn't active orally - like propofol, or IM use only - like steroids (which are typically highly hepatotoxic if taken orally).

These are the ingredients

Each mL contains promethazine HCl, either 25 mg or 50 mg, edetate disodium 0.1 mg, calcium chloride 0.04 mg, sodium metabisulfite 0.25 mg and phenol 5 mg in Water for Injection. pH 4.0 to 5.5; buffered with acetic acid-sodium acetate.

Why not save it for IV use, I mean you have ampoules, so you can do it the right way. Could be a quick fix to a sudden allergic reaction, extreme nausea, etc. Not recreational, but still could be of good use.
