Misc Promethazine Hangover?

I have been taking Phenergan (Promethazine Hydrochloride) 120mg or so a day for 3 days. I'm running low on Oxy but get more tomorrow so I have been using promethazine and codeine to prevent withdrawals.

I woke up this morning with dry sore eyes...very mild anxiety...just a general hungover feeling despite having had 30mg promethazine, 25mg oxycodone and 150mg codeine.

Is Promethazine (or anti-histamines in general) know to cause this? How long 'till it goes away? Will taking more Phenergan help?

Yes, as long as the promethazine is there in your system...

Stop doing antihistamines that are as anticholinergic as they are antihistaminic...

What does antichlonergic mean? Promthazine is the only prescription-strength anti-histamine I have access to.
