Muscarinic acetylcholine blocker, apparently quite potent.

This can increase the risk of falling, tripping, slipping etc.?

Benzo's and Z drugs increase dementia onset apparently.

Unsure if acetylcholine blockers do this also?

Experiences?

Thoughts on recommended hypnotic in the elderly to avoid complications?

Probably mirtazapine I'm thinking.

Promethazine is not something that would be taken in a regular basis. It's main use is for nausea. It is known to have sedating effects. It would definitely increase fall risk. I have a script for it. It's one of the only meds out there that will make me sleep.

I took 75 mg for years for sleep every night.
