my friend is looking for help on his new issue with nausea. Basically on new years he had an overdose on smaller amounts of 2ce 2cb speed mdma and ketamine and was taken to hospital. He threw up and had a high heart beat while not having his stomach pumped he was given medicine and kept under watch. After this event he has been suffering from nauseia from drugs that he never before had problem with for example mdma ketamin and ocassionally even alcohol. I am just wondering if anyone else had a similair problem or had any advice on how to handle it. he is am not sure if it is nerves or damage to my proccessing system im sorry if this is in the wrong thread but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

in my experience the best thing for nausea is Promethazine (Phenergan) 50mg - tums helps a tiny bit,but yeah promethazine and maybe some fine cannabis

yeh weed can help but his issue with weed is he will smoke it most of day go into town for 5 smoke till 10 before taking something and going to a party so smoking more just makes him feel more groggy. he has considered taking antiacids and other nausea helping tablets but the thing is he never had nausea with drugs before that not even a churned up stomach so his main aim is to get back to that state because the other alternative is quit stimulants something which he would hate to do because psychadelics while having a definate place in his heart are not really his thing. it also might lead to the regaining of his alcohol problems something that he has struggled with from an early age.

Unfortunately if you have to start taking medication in order for you to be able to take any drug recreationally, then I don't really see the recreation.
Don't let it become an "excuse" (can't think of a better word right now, sorry) to start drinking again.
I mean if nausea is a problem then alcohol will just make it worse and you (or your friend) will go into a downward spiral and it just isn't worth it.
Stimulants are psychologically very addictive and the "mindset" I am reading in your posts isn't going to help in any way possible.

I'm "shooting from the hip" here for the only reason that there might not be another chance for him/you to actually see what is happening and to accept it.
If it is too difficult then please seek some form of therapy, there are issues that need to be addressed and talking to a professional would be the best thing you/him can do.

Hello

Have you considered that it may be a psychosomatic manifestation?
That is the only logical explanation that I can drum up, and can personally attest to the strength of this sort of reaction.

Look up the definition and into examples of "psychosomatic" if you're unsure of what it means.

Otherwise, I get the feeling that you may be young, but young does not mean invincible. If you continue to consume all of the drugs that you mentioned at the same time or even in the same night, your risk of another OD (or worse) remains substantial. Binge drinking at a party or two per week is probably (and yet also unfortunately) of less acute-physical risk than that poly-drug combination.

Well, I'm really not here to lecture you, so I'll leave it at that.

with no doubt does he understands the immense stupidity of his actions on that night and regret them hugely. while he is currently getting councelling and therapy on the issue he dj's and attend alot of raves etc which is incredibly hard to do sober so while he would like to be able to go sober it would be incredibly difficult.he says will like into the psychosomatic manifestation and maybe that will help. i also no there is no i in nausea however i do not no how to change it :)
