Heroin Problems dissolving heroin

So I have this grey dope and it does not dissolve well when I stir it or heat it. I know its straight cuz I snorted it. It just will not dissolve right. After I heat and stir it, I still see specs of it remaining. And when I cook it, it still wont mix and starts steaming like it might all burn away. Has anyone had problems like this.
 
Are you in the US? Or Europe? In the US we get number 4 heroin which is readily soluble in water. Europe typically gets number 3 heroin (base) which needs citric acid to dissolve properly. If you are in the US, it is quite possible it is just cut with some garbage if it doesn't dissolve right, but still gets your high when snorted.
 
Its from Detriot, im fairly sure. Its different from what I use to get in southern Ohio. My dealer said another junkie said to ad a drop or two of vinegar. And I had a little bump after injecting. The syringe registered, drew blood, but still left a bump.
 
Sorry to steal your thread but I also have a question about problems with dissolving. Very rarely I will get this off white dope and when I add water and start stirring it will turn into this wet mush like half solid shit. I'll put in like 50 units and only get like 20 units back, so it feels like i'm losing A LOT. when it's in the rig it also looks very milky and translucent. So, finally my question is is there anyways to save my dope when it turns into this mushy solid shit? :(
 
So I'm confused as to do I need to heat the shot. Some places say always. Others say it doesn't matter, and some say it will burn away your dope. Whats Right?
 
And Eden Eye, its cool, Im having the same issue. I hate the dope in my current town. I miss the big city where you could buy any kind you wanted. White, light brown stones (those were my fav cuz they were the least cut) and I even got red once, which was still fire!

I would recommend avoiding this dope you are describing like the plague. It seems as if it is cut with something that is not water soluble, so whoever was bagging/cutting it up must have been brain dead. Chances are the actual heroin (if there even is any) is getting dissolved in the water but the non-soluble cut is gumming everything up and creating a mess. THere isn't much you can do about this, except use more water and invest in micron filters. I wouldn't even be surprised if this "off white dope" was some crushed up percocet or some shit.

And in regards to heating dope, it is absolutely NOT necessary. Heroin is VERY soluble in cold water, so simply mixing with water and stirring should create a suitable solution. Heating it doesn't do anything in regards to killing bacteria, either, as water would need to be boiled for AT LEAST 15-20 minutes for it to become "sterile"; so holding a lighter under it for 10 seconds won't do jack, except potentially burn off the valuable good shit.
 
Well itcame as a grey stone, and my guy did say the leftover was cut> I always use a filter
 
I've gotten little stones before..And when I try melting it nothing happened. Made me think it was a little pebble! Is it possible you just tried to melt some cut? Also-- try citric acid, its normally just a European thing but maybe your dope traveled some distance :P
 
I haven't hear of #3 heroin being grey. I usually hear of it being brown to a brown/rust color. Here is a pic of #3 chunks:

I've gotten dope that looks identical to that tons of times, and it was #4

As for the OP, it's just leftover cut. Just do what you get, rinse the spoon off, and you're good.

And as for thedeneye, I've gotten dope cut with benadryl and did the exact same thing. left a big pile of white mush and I'd have to go through like 6 cottons to salvage all the liquid I could, but there was still half of the liquid still in it. Hate that so much
 
So I read that the only time heat is needed is to get the acid to dissolve heroin. But i also heard heat is unnecessary> which is true
 
It's most likely just some non water soluble crap your dealer cut the dope with. I experienced something similar when i first started doing dope, my first dealer was kind of shady, and he cut his shit with something that wasnt water soluble, so there was always stuff at the bottom of the cap i used to mix my dope. My solution was just to find better connects....you should do the same. The dope probably isnt that potent when it's so blatantly cut, at least that was the case IME.
 
So your from detriot. Im in KZoo on the southwest side. I just bought some from a new guy today. It was kinda light brown, mayber greyish. I could tell it was better than what I was getting cuz it had no shake. It was a solid rock. Not as good as when I lived in Cincinnati but still good for around here. It most likely came from Detriot. Im just new to this using acid to dissolve. Have you ever had to dissolve with acid? Howd you do it?
 
^ I doubt that you will be getting #3 which needs the citric acid to dissolve. Here is a video about using citric acid to dissolve #3 heroin.
 
so you dont think its number #3? How do I tell, it came as a rock.
If its 4 then i just usewater right?
 
I haven't really heard of anybody getting heroin #3 in the US. Yes, just use water and you don't need to heat it either. Any of the insoluble stuff is just cut, and you don't want to dissolve that by heating it and have it end up in your veins, and possibly re-solidifying once it cools down.

I highly doubt that you got any #3 heroin. I did heroin for about 2 years, and never once did i get #3 type. It just isn't around in the northeast united states. I'm sure the heroin you got was from detroit, that's where pretty much any heroin u get in michigan was originally bought. It sounds like you're going through a middle man, in which case when you were having trouble dissolving it, it may have been because he had cut it with something.If you're in kalamazoo i can't imagine there's a lot of heroin dealers around, except for maybe some addicts doing it as a hustle to support their habits. Solid rocks are what you want, and are pretty much the norm when you have a solid hook in the city.
