Primidone dosage for a nice buzz?

Hello everyone, I have had access to primidone for a while and have only tested with small doses, I could feel it slightly but not much.

I understand the body converts Primidone into phenobarbital, but is around 15-25% depending on the person, so I am looking for a moderate buzz with Primidone.

I thought to start conservatively as I have also taken 40MG of diazepam at the same time, so I took 10 50MG tablets. This should convert too 125MG of Phenobarbital if I convert at 25%, which would give me a bang in the middle common dose of 125MG- I went for common as I didn't want to try heavy.

So I am asking if anyone has any experience with Phenobarbital/Primidone, and how I should feel after taking 10 of the small 50MG white tablets?

Well, I must say I have a very high valium/diazepam tolerance, but mixed with the Primidone barbiturate I feel smashed off of 40MG- I feel fantastic and floaty, everything is good in the world and I have no worries.

I just find I am slightly more sedated with the 125MG Phenobarbital conversion compared to just diazepam, but it is a nice sleepy feeling if that makes sense. I don't need to go to sleep, but if I did I would sleep like a baby.

Now it has kicked in a really do enjoy primidone, especially combined with Diazepam.

Be easy as I am sure you know barbs and benzos can be a dangerous combination. Barbs alone can be scary. I would be seriously concerned about redosing too often or even blackout dosing. Sorry I don't have any input on primidone but trusting it converts to a barb be real easy!!

There's not really a "nice buzz" off of long acting barbiturates. It's either full retardation for 2 days or you don't feel it. The therapeutic index is very small.

Mysoline or primidone specifically, what you're using, has an exceptionally slow come on (to the point I often question if theyre doing anything) and absolutely zero rush. This is cause its a prodrug, and has very few effects without being metabolized.
Phenylethylmalonamide is another active metabolite with very little research on its effects. If you want a buzz, stick with benzos. The barbs are definitely better for anxiety and sleep because they work on a deeper level (picrotoxin/barb site as opposed to BZD site), but still, stick with other gabaergics for recreational use unless you want to blackout and have even worse seizures than benzo wd. Barbs also lose their effects so quick, it's redonk. Like actually a week of use and there's no more (notable) sedation.
