@Okiv99 hey buddy. Yes, fluid retention is a side effect that has been observed when Gabapentinoids like Pregabalin (Lyrica). I notice it in my hands sometimes, though it's not anything to worry about if it's an isolated issue. It's just a side effect. It doesn't imply that there is something wrong with you.
Do you have issues with your kidneys? Unless a doctor has told you that you have kidney problems, then you'd be better off not to even think like that. It's only going to drive you crazy.
I'm not sure how much Pregabalin you're taking. For inexperienced users, 300mg-600mg is the best place to start. If I were in your position, I'd take ~450mg before waiting at least a few hours before taking anymore. These dosages should be enough to give you a good experience without a lot of risk.
I wouldn't exceed 600mg Pregabalin though. It's not particularly dangerous. However, in higher dosages, it is known to produce convulsions and myoclonic seizures. I have had this happen to me. There were a couple of times that Pregabalin made me flail so badly I had to lay down or I would hurt myself. With all that in mind, just be responsible about the dosages.
