Brief over view:



I've contacted admins in relation to links to this external forum and they've shown preliminary open mindedness as it's neurology focused, but from a slightly a-typical viewpoint.

I cross posted this into "drug nerds" also and it seemed to resonate fairly okay.

Sub forum is intended to reflect a more cognitive/performance style nervous system intervention and contrast it in theory and practicality to historical pharmacotherapeutic interventions.

First foray with cross posting so we'll see how things proceed....

- In terms of neurology and genetics specifically, I don't want to start another thread but this is in the same ball park.

I read a book by a neurologist called "Wiring the Brain":

It explores the genetics vs development theory.

......

I just got to thinking, couples, men/women, often hook up based on finding desirable character traits in one another.

Sometimes prioritizing a partner that has a trait they deem imperative, potentially based on life experience (a women from a background of intimidation and violence may prioritize a partner who can "stand up for himself".... vaguely put).

- Therefore, genetically offspring may inherent dominant genes of one parent, but whose development phase may be more orientated toward the other parent.....

........

I have no idea if that's how it works but by way of observation it's not terribly far from how things materialize;

i.e. a young man may have inherited his fathers physicality, but personality development may be based on cordial nature of the maternal influence?
