(answered) posting

Your posts here and here indicate that you can respond to threads, and this thread indicated you can start threads.

There are a few forums on here that require you be a bluelighter (have 50 posts with your account) before posting in, so perhaps that was the issue. The Lounge is one of those forums, so do you know if that's where you tried to post? Also, you can't start a blog until you are a bluelighter, so that may be the other place you tried to post but were unable to.

If you cannot respond to posts, how are you going to acquire 50 posts? I would very much like to respond to an exchange on the toxicity of dopamine because I know that commercially prepared dopamine like they give to Parkinson's patients is toxic after longtime use. However dopamine from velvet beans (mucuna beans) is not toxic and has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years. Only now are some "lunatic frnge" people in the United States becoming interested in using mucuna beans for Parkinson's. This, it seems, is important information but apparently cannot be posted on these boards

you can post a comment by starting a thread (click the "new thread" button at the top of the forum page) or by replying to an existing thread (click "post reply" or "reply" in the thread).

take this question at face value - is it really that hard to work out that you start a new thread by clicking a button marked "new thread" and you post a reply to an existing thread by clicking a button marked "post reply"? if so, how do we make it easier?

regards
