I'll try to explain but it will be hard coz the post is gonna think I'm trying to post a picture myself. You basically gotta do it like you'd do it if you were putting an image on a web page...
If that does not help then I will try to explain, but bear with me.
First symbol is a pointy bracket thing, the thing you get if you hold down shift and hit the comma. Then directly after put img src=
and right after the equal sign put the URL of the picture you're trying to show us in quotes, then without any space put a close pointy-bracket, what you'd get if you hold shift and the period key. That's all there is to it.
And... ugh. Looking back, that's not clear at ALL. Lemme see if this will work to show you better.. Okay I'm gonna leave off the first bracket in hopes of being able to show the rest, so in your mind add a bracket before the 'img'

Please keep in mind that a picture does have to be on a webpage first before you can show us... Can't just upload it off the hard drive. So if it's just something saved on your computer, stick it on some generic geocities account first. DO NOT use fortunecity, crosswinds, or (I think) angelfire... They all took highly annoying steps to make you unable to link images directly from their servers. It's a pain in the butt. If Geocities decides to do this too, I will throw a hissy fit.
But yeah, anyway. Hope that helps. Heh, look, it even works for animation:

BTW, if NONE of this made sense and you're still as confused as ever, try this... Right click on any non-link place on this page, then leftclick on 'View Source'. Scan the html crap for the paragraph where I said 'Look, it even works for animation' coz right under that will be the exact code I used to put that dancing elmo thingie up there. *P*L*U*R*

For neone who cares--I am a fucking retard. I just needed to seng the file in the right format in order for the server to recognize it. Ended up kinda big but I'm sure I'll get better at it. Thank you for the help and the criricism( i like to be abused)
