I like dubstep, but a lot of it really just sounds the same. I put soundcloud on after searching "Dubstep" and just left it to play through some stuff and forgot about it, i came back to my computer a little while later and heard this track playing and was like "thats pretty awesome" and made it its own page until i could sit down and listen to it through....

This is my new favorite dubstep track... To much dubstep is just a repetitive wobble bass.... This is wobble bass with a lot of groove, epic vocals, and crazy guitar riffs and breaks....

This is also a bit more wonky and balls to the wall than most people are with the music they make....

Any dubstep suggestions that against the mainstream sounds and feel of dubstep?

That's some pretty alternative dubstep. I think it would be pretty difficult to ever find these tracks if you didn't post them here. :)

Just sayin:
This is the only track that you posted that I liked
XXXY - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wc6hO73l7Dk

And I really wouldn't class any of those tracks as dubstep?? More like chill/breaks? I dunno, but not dubstep :)
Not saying I'm an expert on the subject or anything! But yeah, not dubstep :)

Burial and iTAL tEK have been blowing my mind.

Also Free the Robots is more jazz tinted with his Ctrl Alt Delete release, still quite bass heavy though.

Heyoka and Mimosa are essential. Mimosa was the soundtrack to the best shroom trip of my life.

This is what dubstep sounded like before the scene was obsessed with 'dirty filthy SICK BRO wooob wwuuubbbs'.... :\

& he did ask for a-typical dubstep.

Back in the good old days before all the shitty brostep. I remember when Bar 9 first released Murda Sound. Up until that point dubstep was mostly low end basslines with a lot of variation in all other aspects. post Murda Sound, dubstep became inundated with new artists who pretty much just took the formula from that one track and packaged it in a ever so slightly different way. Theres still a handful of good dubstep acts out there, but they are few and fair between in comparison to the beginnings.

I think the fact that people don't even recognise Kode9 who was one of the founders of dubstep as dubstep just goes to show what dubstep has become. :/
