Aight yall i got somethin new for us here. I dont kno about yall but for me , certain songs makes me think of certain memories i got. we all listen to music and use drugs here and i think alot of people get flashbacks and memories of a time in their life when they hear a song that they listened to alot durin that time especially when drugs was involved. It makes kind of a trigger for memories of that time when you hear the song later on, bringin you back to the time and floodin you with all the details of wat was goin on at that time...when you close ur eyes and listen to that music especially if u high on the same drug the memory involves, it can be like time traveling for 3 or 4 minutes back to that old spot.

So in this thread you gonna post a song, the drug u used at the time, and the period of your life that u was in at the time, the memory that comes up when u hear the song, the places n things it makes you remember, etc. and describe it to all of us. Post as much details n information as u can the more the better, this aint just a one word reply type of topic. O yea, and dont forget to post a youtube or other link to the song so we can all hear it and kno the song ur talkin about too!

Long before my addiction became anything serious, I already knew I was heading down what could become a very dark path. This song epitomized what I was feeling at the time and I came to associate the sadness of it with my drug use. I always loved a good tragedy. :\

shnargoff can u name a specific time u are talkin about? I wasnt asking about songs u like to listen to while ur high. Is there a time that comes to mind when u hear that song , is there a certain memory it brings back to u, etc? That is wat this thread is askin...not sayin u "did it wrong" or nothing but your post didnt really make sense...

Tool- Sober (or just about anything off this album)

Drug Used- Heroin

Setting- I was sentenced to a 6 month drug rehab in another county from which I live. When your in there over 3-4 months the drug testing slows down a bit. Shooting Coke in a shack that we used to have to clean out. We would bring a cd player and throw on some Tool.


(All my other memories of Tool songs are from H W/D's)
